Spring Break 2009

This spring break was unlike all other spring breaks...it was our first official family vacation. We went to Amelia Island for a few days. Ona LOVED playing in the sand and walking up and down the beach. She also loved throwing her little Elmo figurines into the water, shouting "oh no!" and then running to get them before the small waves took them away. I'm so impressed with how well she adapted to staying at a new place and all the sand. This was her first beach trip ever and probably only the 2nd or 3rd time introduced to water. It was too cold to go swimming really, but she walked up and down getting her feet and legs wet along the beach edge.
This is from Snow Mountain in Feb. She DIDNOT like the snow!
